ATEQ Launches New Function to Read Tesla BLE Sensors

17-11-2022

ATEQ has announced its VT67 will be able to read data from Tesla BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) sensors, such as tire pressure and temperature.* This function will come in handy to technicians, who are encouraged to check the TPMS before working on a vehicle.

We are delighted to confirm that our BLE sensor is compatible with the new function. In fact, the U-Pro Hybrid BLE was the first aftermarket solution to be verified by ATEQ. Being part of the verification process meant we could film a demonstration before its official release. Please see below.

The Tesla vehicles that employ BLE sensors are Model 3 (Oct 2020+), Model S (June 2021+), Model X (Oct 2022+) and Model Y (Oct 2020+).

With almost 1.9 million Tesla vehicles on the road, ATEQ felt it necessary to adapt rapidly to the innovation (as Hamaton did with its BLE sensor).** According to ATEQ, it is the first TPMS tool manufacturer to integrate the technology into its tools.

About the U-Pro Hybrid BLE

The U-Pro Hybrid BLE is a direct replacement for the OE sensor manufactured by Sysgration Ltd. Our aftermarket solution, which also employs BLE, is pre-programmed for the above Tesla vehicles. As a result, technicians can save time by skipping the programming step. Furthermore, customers can choose between two metal Clamp-In valves (black or graphite) designed to complement the alloy wheel finish.

*Users can expect the official release to occur by Q1 2023. Subsequently, users must update their tool to obtain the new function.
